Refund Policy

A legal opinion

 

Chiasson & Fils Landscaping Inc.

 

At Chiasson & Fils Landscaping Inc., customer satisfaction is our top priority. However, due to the customized nature of our landscaping services, we have established the following policy:

 

1. No refund after project completion

Once the work has been completed in accordance with the accepted estimate and the contractual obligations have been met, no refunds will be issued. The client is encouraged to validate all elements of the project before and during execution. Any dissatisfaction must be formally reported within 7 days of the completion of the work.

 

2. 12-month warranty

Chiasson & Fils Landscaping Inc. offers a 12-month warranty on the work carried out (paving, low walls, structures etc. but not limited to) from the date of completion of the work, covering any defects in workmanship.
Plants and shrubs are guaranteed for one growing season, provided they are properly maintained by the customer (watering, care, etc.).

*Some materials used may, however, be covered by a longer manufacturer's warranty, depending on the specific conditions of each product.

 

3. Refund of deposit before the start of work

In the event of cancellation of the project before the start of work, the client may request a refund of the deposit paid upon signing the estimate.
However, a flat rate percentage of 15% of the total amount of the quote (or deposit, depending on the agreement) will be retained as administrative and internal planning costs.

 

4. No refunds once work has started

From the start of work on the site, no reimbursement, even partial, will be granted, as human, material and time resources have already been committed.

 

5. Force majeure

In the event of cancellation due to force majeure (serious illness, extreme weather events preventing the execution of the project, etc. but not limited to), Chiasson & Fils Landscaping Inc. reserves the right to examine each situation on a case-by-case basis and apply an equitable solution according to the circumstances.
